 Early-Stage Investment Criteria

• Industries: internet, business services
• Market Position: Companies with a sustainable value proposition in niche regional, or national markets
• Management Teams: Track record and/or unique industry advantage
• Revenues and Earnings:
  • Truly distinctive start-ups
  • Early stage developing companies with revenue of at least $1m, breakeven plus
• Investment Size: up to $1m
• Geography: Chicago area
   
  

 Special Situations

• Industries: Manufacturing, distribution, business services
• Random Newsflash generator
• Market Position: Companies with a sustainable distinctive value proposition in niche regional, or national markets
• Management Teams: Track record and/or unique industry advantage
• Revenues and Earnings:
  • Platform companies with revenues of at least $8m (typically $8-20m) and less than $3m EBITDA
• Investment Size: $1m - $4m of Synetro capital
• Investment Type: growth equity, control
• Geography: Chicagoland region, Mid-western US
